Located just a stone’s throw from Clarke Quay, it’s where you should go to fill up on carbs before heading for a night out. Expect unpretentious, home-style cooking, served with a side of the genuine love for humanity that drives the non-profit restaurant’s belief of “Eat what you want, give what you feel”. Named after the street in English nursery rhyme “The Muffin Man”, Drury Lane pays homage to its namesake by letting customers decide how much to pay for its delicious muffins. Their muffins come in an assortment of flavours, ranging from banana and walnut, to kaya (coconut jam), to green tea, and they go great with a latte or as an accompaniment to the café’s other home baked treats. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll love the Candy Bar Pie – a rich tart made of peanut butter nougat and salted caramel, glazed with chocolate. With menu specials that change every week, the café is a hit with the weekend brunch crowd. Just look out for the unit along Tanjong Pagar Road that features a bright red shop front!
