Albert Court Village Hotel offers new F&B outlet - Kookaburra Restaurant & Gastrobar

For Immediate Release

Albert Court Village Hotel offers new F&B outlet –

Kookaburra Restaurant & Gastrobar

Featuring all-day breakfast concept and modern bistro with Asian-inspired twist

Singapore, 8 June 2012 – Albert Court Village Hotel is delighted to announce the opening of Kookaburra Restaurant & Gastrobar – the highly anticipated sequel to its underground affiliated hangout Late Plate at the Shaw Foundation Alumni House in National University of Singapore and also, the latest addition to the hotel’s stable of F&B offerings.

Kookaburra is well-placed on the fringe of the arts and multi-cultural district and seamlessly integrated with the modern chic and nostalgic heritage of the hotel. The restaurant’s warm interiors framed with large clear windows overlook the colonial courtyard on one side and the vibrant atmosphere of the Little India on the other.

While the all-day breakfast concept is retained at Kookaburra, the restaurant also added a slew of impressive special mains such as Char-grilled Rump Steak, Kurobuta Rendang, Barbequed Kangaroo and Duck Leg and Goose Rillette among other rare treats. Each is specially created for this new outlet by resident Executive Chef Roland Graham with an impressive track record of over 35 years of culinary experience.

Diners can opt to pair with over 300 specially selected wine labels for the contemporary bush tucker fare. To top it off, Kookaburra’s team of mixologists have put together a themed menu of cocktail creations that gives its own spin to all-time favourites like fresh fruit martinis and mojitos. If diners are in for beers, they could also choose from any imported premium brands and the two international drafts on tap.

“Kookaburra is indeed a showcase of originality and uncompromising taste and quality. We want to give our guests a variety of quality yet affordable pricing dining options while staying with us. So whether they are in for a casual meal, weekend brunch, or intimate dinner, I’m sure Kookaburra has something to offer for every diner.” said Mr Koh Yan Leng, General Manager, Albert Court Village Hotel.

Stay at Albert Court Village Hotel and experience the rich cultural and ethnic flavours from S$175++ and enjoy complimentary buffet breakfast for one. For reservations, please call +65 6496 7699 or email reseasy@fareast.com.sg.
