  • Christmas

    During the Christmas period, visitors can head down to Orchard road and be mesmerized by the display of lights along the streets.   • Deepavali

    Deepavali or the festival of lights is celebrated by the Hindu community in Singapore. Deepavali is basically a celebration of good over evil. During this festival, new clothes are being worn and sweets are being shared with family and friends.

  • Hari Raya Aidilfitri

    Hari Raya Aidilfitri is celebrated by the Muslim Community after a month of fasting from dawn to dusk.  During this period, Families usually wear the traditional costumes and visits their relatives to further strengthen the bonds between each family.  Tourist can savor the  wide array of traditional food being served at the bazaar as well as satisfy your shopping needs at the bazaar found all over Singapore. 

  • Hari Raya Haji

    Hari Raya Haji is known as the festival of sacrificed and is celebrated by the Muslim community. This day is to mark the end of the holy pilgrimage to Mecca. Besides that, it is customary for the males to visit the mosque to pray follow by the sacrificing of sheeps, goat and cows.  This meat is then packed and distributed to the Muslim community especially the less fortunate. 

  • Mid Autumn Festival

    The Mid Autumn Festival is also known as the Lantern or Mooncake festival. Visitors can observe beautifully decorated lanterns on display as well as get a taste of the traditional mooncake which come in various flavors. Besides that, there is also an array of performances depicting the tale of Chang E, describing how the festival came about.
